Green Dentistry

As part of our commitment to the community, we take great pride in practicing green dentistry! Our office is digital and paperless, has lower water usage, filters silver-mercury in our suction lines preventing it’s entrance into our local water table, uses non-toxic, no-VOC disinfectants, minimizes single-use plastics, and utilizes motion-activated LED lights—and this is only a fraction of our sustainability efforts! Our goal is to ensure that both our patients’ health and the health of our planet are considered when selecting products and developing protocols.

Philanthropy

Our commitment to charity is something we take very seriously. Dr. James Raymond and our Skyline Dental team are committed not only to providing the best care possible, but also giving back to underserved communities, both local and abroad.

A percentage of our profits are donated back to charities in the Tucson community. Contributions have been made to organizations, including:

Charitable donations are made through our new patient referral program. Two things we LOVE at Skyline Dental are when existing patients refer friends and family and making charitable donations! So we decided to combine them. Through our program, patients can select a charity and we will make a $30 donation in their name for every new patient who joins our practice as a result of their referral.

We also volunteer both locally and internationally.

Skyline Dental in partnership with The Second Chance Project and Arizona Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons has provided tens of thousands of dollars in comprehensive, life-changing dentistry to Tucsonans.

Dr. Raymond and team members have participated in AZ Mission of Mercy, Hopefest, Give Kids a Smile, and TDC Cares events.

Dr. Raymond has traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide free dental care to children and is planning his 2nd international dental service trip to Guatemala.

Dr. Raymond is the co-founder of TDC Cares, a local charity focused on providing dental care to homeless veterans and at-risk Tucsonans seeking workforce re-entry. Dr. Raymond is a board member of the Arizona Dental Fund, which helps organize and fund charitable dentistry for children and individuals with special needs throughout our state.
