Our preventive dentistry treatments

At Skyline Dental, we offer a variety of different procedures that can help give you a beautiful and healthy smile. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We’ll help you maintain healthy teeth and gums for life!

Dental Checkups –

At an exam, your dentist will check for cavities or other potential issues with your teeth or gums. Regular check-ups are important not only for your dental health, but for your overall health and well-being.

Dental Cleanings –

Brushing and flossing at home routinely is most important, but a cleaning at your dentist’s office is the best way to remove the build-up of tartar and prevent gum disease.

Digital X-Rays –

At Skyline Dental, we use digital x-rays, which produce less radiation than traditional X-rays to detect cavities forming in-between your teeth that are otherwise not visible.

Chemotherapeutics –

This encompasses a broad range of gels, rinses, and pastes to help fight dental disease. Included are fluoride products and dry mouth products for cavity prevention and prescription rinses for the treatment of gum disease and inflammation.

Dental Sealants –

Sealants block sugars and bacteria from congregating in the tiny grooves of your teeth, which can lead to a cavity.

Custom Night Guards –

Many of us grind our teeth at night. This is called bruxism. A customized guard can protect you from tooth wear and relieve joint and muscle pain.

TMJ Treatment –

TMJ disorders can be caused by bruxism, arthritis, an unbalanced bite, or a jaw injury. Our team will determine the root cause and create a treatment plan to correct it.

Periodontal Therapy –

Periodontal disease is a chronic condition that results in the loss of bone and gum tissue needed to support teeth. With routine care, we can prevent disease progression.
