A dental insurance plan doesn’t make sense for every patient. Even if it seems like it will save you money, it may end up costing you more in the long run. So what can you do to get the care you need without insurance? At Skyline Dental, we are committed to providing outstanding dental care in a manner that is accessible to you as a patient. This includes helping you navigate the financial considerations that accompany your treatment.
One excellent alternative to dental insurance is our Smile Easy Membership Plan. If you have generally good oral health, you may be paying more than you need to for your insurance premiums. Additionally, patients with insurance often do not take advantage of all the benefits available. Our membership plan is especially beneficial for patients who are interested in general and preventive dentistry because it includes two annual check-ups and cleanings, two fluoride applications, necessary x-rays, and two yearly oral cancer screenings. If you do need a more extensive procedure in the future, you can receive up to 15% off treatment. This membership only costs $450/year.
|Smile Easy Membership Plan||Dental Insurance|
|Work directly with your dentist||Need to deal with a third party|
|Easy-to-understand benefits||Sometimes difficult to figure out what is and is not covered|
|NO waiting periods||Frequently involves a one-year waiting period|
|NO pre-existing condition limitations||Pre-existing conditions not covered|

If our membership plan isn’t the best option for you, there are many other ways you can pay for your service if you don’t have insurance. This can include third-party financing to split up your treatment cost into more manageable monthly payments, a tax-deductible health savings account (HSA) if you qualify, a credit card, or with cash.
No matter what option you choose, we aim to be transparent about what your treatment will include, what it costs, and why we recommend it. This allows you to make informed decisions about your care. It is our goal to make every interaction you have with us comfortable and simple. This not only applies to your actual treatment, but also to your experience deciding which procedures are best for you and determining how to pay for them.
